Welcome to Psych with Bec!
Rebecca now delivers professional development workshops across Melbourne, supporting educators and organisations to build inclusive, responsive, and neuroaffirming practices. She also provides therapy services from her consulting rooms in Frankston, working with children, adolescents, and families.
Combining her experience in both education and psychology, Rebecca is passionate about supporting children’s development, educator wellbeing, and creating environments where all children feel understood, supported, and able to thrive.
Rebecca's Story
Rebecca is as an Education and Developmental Psychologist in a private practice called Moi Clinic where she is Co-Founder and Director.
Rebecca is a late diagnosed ADHDer with dyslexia and dysgraphia meaning she required additional support throughout her studies. Some of these supports are still used today like tutoring and supervision.
Rebecca works with clients across the life span from early childhood through to adulthood. When working with young children, Rebecca's areas of interest include behaviour concerns, trauma, toileting, selective mutism, autism and ADHD. When working with adults Rebecca's area of interest is complex trauma and co-morbid diagnosis such as autism, Dissociative Identity Disorder, Plurality and ADHD.
Rebecca provides assessments and enjoys untangling differential diagnoses. Her assessments are neuroaffirming and aim to break down the stigma of mental health whilst exploring a sense of identity and self-understanding. Rebecca helps people unpack what their diagnosis means and how each diagnosis is linked to strengths and difficulties experienced throughout their lives.
Rebecca is also a board approved supervisor and provides supervision and training to early-career psychologists and works in the early childhood education space, providing consultations and professional development workshops to kindergartens and childcare centres in the community.
